SWARTHOUT RECYCLING OF BEAVER DAMS, NY PARTNERS WITH ARNOT HEALTH AND THE CHILDREN’S
MIRACLE NETWORK. (Beaver
Dams, NY) In an unprecedented move to generate much needed funds for the local Children’s Miracle
Network, representatives of both Swarthout Recycling of Beaver Dams and Children’s Miracle Network at the Arnot Ogden
Medical Center in Elmira are pleased to announce a joint effort to better promote fund raising for this very worthy cause. It is a fact that over 170 Children’s
Miracle Network hospitals participate in an effort to treat millions of children across North America. Locally,
the Arnot Ogden Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit serves families of a 9 county region within the Twin Tiers
area of NY and Pa. Each year the Arnot Ogden Medical Center provides highly specialized care for more than
350 premature or critically ill infants, treats more than 8,000 in its Emergency Department and cares for 1,200 in its Pediatric
Unit. The Children’s
Miracle Network, the Arnot Ogden Medical Center relies heavily on support from business leaders, local organizations and individual’s
to provide highly specialized state of the art equipment to care for critically ill infants. In addition, the funds support
programs including Family Center Care, an Emergency Family Fund and the only Child Life program in the area. None
of the funds raised are used for administrative costs. Swarthout Recycling of Beaver Dams, NY has been recognized as one of the regions premier
family owned and operated companies for over two decades. The Swarthout family believes firmly in local
community growth and they look at the joint marketing promotion with the Children’s Miracle Network at Arnot Ogden Medical
Center as a positive way to give back to the people of the region. In a unique promotion to raise additional money for the Children’s Miracle Network,
Swarthout Recycling will donate directly to the Children’s Miracle Network at Arnot Ogden Medical Center 5% of the monthly
refuse pick-up invoice of any new garbage customers. According to sources at Swarthout Recycling, “Our company looks at this as a perfect
opportunity to give back what could potentially be of a sizable contribution to Children’s Miracle Network.
The more business owners that come on board with Swarthout Recycling under this special promotion the more money gets
funneled right back into the local community as 100% of the proceeds stay with the Arnot Health System.” Likewise, spokesperson Alene Goodman
of the Children’s Miracle Network at Arnot Ogden Medical Center stated, “This is a wonderful opportunity for Children’s
Miracle Network and Arnot Health. Swarthout Recycling is positioning itself as a leader in community support
and we hope many other business leaders see this program as one to watch moving forward.” For more information regarding this unique fund
